Nell\u2019immagine si vede l\u2019ippocampo (regione viola), le cellule nuove (in rosso) e i mitocondri (in verde) che trasmettono le attivit\u00e0 cellulari nel corpo. Per capire il ruolo dei mitocondri nella crescita di nuove cellule, i ricercatori hanno tracciato i cambiamenti avvenuti nei mitocondri di cellule nuove nel corso della loro crescita in condizioni normali oppure in seguito all\u2019esercizio fisico.<\/p>\n<p>Essi hanno scoperto che non appena le cellule appena create crescono, i mitocondri subiscono cambiamenti significativi.
