WHO ARE WE?

WHAT DATA DO WE PROCESS AND WHY?

1. Browsing data

The computer systems acquire automatically, in their normal operation, some data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols, such as IP addresses and/or the domain names of the computers and terminal equipment used by any user, the URI/URL (Uniform Resource Identifier/Locator) addresses of the requested resources, the time of such requests, the method used for submitting a given request to the server, returned file size, a numerical code relating to server response status (successfully performed, error, etc.), and other parameters related to the user’s operating system and computer environment. The data will be used only to check the correct functioning of the website and will be deleted immediately after processing.

2. Data that you spontaneously provide 

a) When you contact us: if you send us an e-mail to the addresses indicated on the website or if you fill out the “Contact us” form, we use your data (name, address, e-mail, message content, company, optionally telephone number) to answer to your requests (the legal basis, or the requirement  to process the data, is the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures).

b) If you want to receive promotional communications from us: your name, surname and e-mail address are used, with your consent, to send you information on products, services, events offered by us or our business partners (the legal basis is consent).

c) If we have to fulfil legal obligations or defend one of our rights: if necessary, your data could be processed to fulfil a legal obligation or an order of public authorities or to defend or exercise a right of the data Controller (the legal bases are the fulfilment of legal obligations and the legitimate interest of the Controller).

DO YOU HAVE TO PROVIDE US WITH DATA?

Apart from what we have mentioned about browsing data, it is not mandatory to communicate the data to us. It is all optional. However, if you want to receive an answer to your questions, you will need to communicate your data to us.

If you do not consent to receive promotional information, you will not be updated on our services, news, offers, events.

WHO DO WE COMMUNICATE THE DATA TO?

The data is processed by our authorised employees.

They are also communicated to third-party companies and external consultants we rely on to provide you with the services (for example: IT service providers, website hosting providers,email marketing providers, etc.), who act as data Processors.

The data will be disclosed to other third parties, public or private, only if we are required to do so by laws or regulations.

WHERE IS YOUR DATA LOCATED?

We store your data in Europe. However, we rely on some suppliers located in the USA or with affiliates in the USA. For example, for e-mail we use Google Inc. In this case,  transfers of data take place only in the presence of the guarantees required by laws and regulations, in particular they are based on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR DATA?

The data you have provided us through the contact forms or through spontaneous email is held for the time necessary to reply to you and, in any case, for a maximum of three months.

Your name and email address collected to send you promotional emails is held for 24 months, subject to your right to withdraw consent at any time.

WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS?

At any time you can request access to your personal data and their rectification. You can request the deletion of data or the limitation of their processing in some circumstances. You can also ask for a copy of the data provided, in a structured format of common use and readable by an automatic device. Remember that you can withdraw your consent to receive promotional communications at any time. You can lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority of your country if you believe that your rights have been violated. Finally, you can object to the processing of your personal data in case it is processed for direct marketing or for the legitimate interest of the controller on grounds relating to your particular situation.
